With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly ground and cooked freeze dried chicken with a net weight of 11.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

We bring this chicken in from a very reputable US rancher - it is all natural, 100% vegan fed cage-free chicken and then we grind it locally with no additives, slow cook it in small batches by hand (no microwaves or machines) and freeze dry it all in the same day, so it is as fresh as you can get. And we don’t add a single thing to it - not even salt. So the ingredient list is as simple as it gets; boneless skinless chicken breast with rib meat. No antibiotics used, no hormones and no inhuman treatment or cages!

This bag contains 11 ounces of ground chicken, which is the equivalent of 44 ounces / 2-3/4 pounds (AFTER cooking it and draining any fat and water off) if purchased at your local high-end specialty butcher shop once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of ground chicken will weigh approximately 4 ounces of freshly cooked ground chicken when rehydrated.

After we are done cooking and freeze drying, each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground chicken will be the equivalent of 7-8 ounces of raw, uncooked ground chicken. Between the cooking, draining of fats, and freeze drying, we reduce the weight of our fresh ground chicken by almost 90%.
