With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly ground and cooked freeze dried turkey with a net weight of 11.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

We bring this turkey in from a very reputable US farm - it is all natural, cage-free, vegan fed turkey and then we grind it locally with no additives, slow cook it in small batches by hand (no microwaves or machines) and freeze dry it all in the same day, so it is as fresh as you can get. And we don’t add a single thing to it - not even salt. So the ingredient list is as simple as it gets; turkey. No antibiotics used, no hormones and no inhumane treatment!

This bag contains 11 ounces of freeze dried fully cooked ground turkey, which is the equivalent of 44 ounces / 2.75 pounds (AFTER cooking it and draining all the fat off) if purchased at your local high-end specialty butcher shop once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground turkey will weigh approximately 4 ounces of freshly cooked ground turkey when rehydrated.

After we are done cooking and freeze drying, each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground turkey will be the equivalent of 7-8 ounces of raw, uncooked ground turkey. Between the cooking, draining of fats, and freeze drying, we reduce the weight of our fresh ground turkey by almost 90%.
