With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly ground and cooked freeze dried veal with a net weight of 7.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

We bring this veal in from a very reputable local US rancher - it is all natural, natural living/non-caged or penned veal and then we grind it locally with no additives, slow cook it in small batches by hand (no microwaves or machines) and freeze dry it all in the same day, so it is as fresh as you can get. And we don’t add a single thing to it - not even salt. So the ingredient list is as simple as it gets; veal. No antibiotics used, no hormones and no inhuman treatment!

This bag contains 7 ounces of fully cooked and freeze dried ground veal, which is the equivalent of 42 ounces / just over 2-1/2 pounds (AFTER cooking it and draining all the fat off) if purchased at your local high-end specialty butcher shop once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground veal will weigh approximately 6 ounces of freshly cooked ground veal when rehydrated.

After we are done cooking and freeze drying, each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground veal will be the equivalent of 7-8 ounces of raw, uncooked ground veal. Between the cooking, draining of fats, and freeze drying, we reduce the weight of our fresh ground veal by almost 90%.
