This product includes one bulk package of freshly prepared freeze dried cheeseburgers with a net weight of 7.2 ounces, packaged for long term storage. The bag contains three (3) cheeseburgers that were freeze dried shortly after being freshly prepared, then shrink-wrapped individually and packaged in nitrogen flushed bags to seal in the flavor. Created for a government RFQ, these “Midrats” are now available to the public.

The guaranteed shelf life of this product is 5 years if kept in the factory sealed packaging and out of direct sunlight. Each cheeseburger is sealed individually in food-grade PVC film and packed in a nitrogen-flushed and sealed Mylar pouch. Some cracking or breaking during packaging and transit is possible due to freeze drying making items fragile, but this does not affect taste or nutrition.

The product is shelf stable with no refrigeration required, ideal for emergency storage, hiking, backpacking/camping, or office desk.

Simply rehydrate with steam (instructions on the label) and serve. It can also be consumed freeze dried by breaking it into bite-sized pieces for snacking.
