With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly ground and cooked freeze dried lamb with a net weight of 12.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

We bring this lamb in from a very reputable US rancher - it is all natural, grass fed and pastured lamb and then we grind it locally with no additives, slow cook it in small batches by hand (no microwaves or machines) and freeze dry it all in the same day, so it is as fresh as you can get. And we don’t add a single thing to it - not even salt. So the ingredient list is as simple as it gets; lamb. No antibiotics used, no hormones and no inhuman treatment!

This bag contains 12 ounces of ground lamb, which is the equivalent of 48 ounces / 3 pounds (AFTER cooking it and draining all the fat off) if purchased at your local high-end specialty butcher shop once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground lamb will weigh approximately 4 ounces of freshly cooked ground lamb when rehydrated.

After we are done cooking and freeze drying, each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground lamb will be the equivalent of 7-8 ounces of raw, uncooked ground lamb. Between the cooking, draining of fats, and freeze drying, we reduce the weight of our fresh ground lamb by almost 90%.
