With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly cooked and freeze dried white polenta with a net weight of 6.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

This bag contains the equivalent of 36 ounces/2-1/4 pounds if you took the time to slow cook this all day once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of freeze dried polenta/grits will weigh approximately 6 ounces of fresh polenta when rehydrated.

This package of white polenta is fully cooked, so it is perfect to take on a hike or a camping trip without the hassle, mess and waste of having to lug a cooler around with a lot of ice.

Simply rehydrate with water for a few minutes (instructions on the label) heat and serve! Also, because it is fully cooked, it is actually pretty darn good freeze dried by the handful right out of the pack for a crunchy vegan high-carb/energy snack on the trail!!
