Product Details

One bulk package of freeze-dried, fully cooked elbow pasta (macaroni) packaged for long-term storage. The pasta is vacuum sealed in a moisture- and oxygen-free environment and packed in a resealable easy-tear top bag.

Ingredients

Semolina (wheat), durum wheat flour.

Nutrients

Contains added vitamins and minerals: niacin (vitamin B3), iron (ferrous sulfate), thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2), and folic acid.

Usage & Rehydration

1. Add water and allow to rehydrate for a few minutes according to the label instructions.
2. Heat if desired and serve. The product rehydrates quickly and yields significantly more weight when rehydrated (see additional information for yield estimates).

Packaging & Storage

Packaged in a resealable pouch with an integrated closure. Store unopened pouches in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight. After opening, reseal with the integrated closure or use a home vacuum sealer to extend storage life.

• After opening: typical refrigerated or resealed shelf life ranges from about 3 months to 1 year depending on storage conditions and how well the bag is resealed; using a vacuum sealer can extend this to multiple years for best results
