With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly ground and cooked freeze dried venison with a net weight of 10.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

We bring this venison in from a very reputable US rancher - it is all natural, grass fed, free ranging venison and then we grind it locally with no additives, slow cook it in small batches by hand (no microwaves or machines) and freeze dry it all in the same day, so it is as fresh as you can get. And we don’t add a single thing to it - not even salt. So the ingredient list is as simple as it gets; venison. No antibiotics used, no hormones and no inhumane treatment!

This bag contains 10 ounces of ground venison, which is the equivalent of 50 ounces / 3-1/8th pounds (AFTER cooking it and draining all the fat off) if purchased at your local high-end specialty butcher shop once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground venison will weigh approximately 5 ounces of freshly cooked ground venison when rehydrated.

After we are done cooking and freeze drying, each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground venison will be the equivalent of 7-8 ounces of raw, uncooked ground venison. Between the cooking, draining of fats, and freeze drying, we reduce the weight of our fresh ground venison by almost 90%.
