You will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly caught, flash frozen and freeze dried Chilean sea bass filets with a net freeze-dried weight of 11.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

This bag contains eleven (11) ounces of freeze dried wild-caught Chilean sea bass, which is the equivalent of 44 ounces or 2-3/4 pounds of freshly trimmed and deboned Chilean sea bass filets that are ready for you to prepare virtually however you like if purchased at your local gourmet seafood shop once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of this incredibly flaky and rich sea bass will weigh approximately 4 ounces of freshly skinned and deboned sea bass when rehydrated.

This package of wild-caught (hook and line fished in the Southeast Pacific) Chilean sea bass has already had the skin and all bones removed for you. It is then filleted and portioned into 6 to 8 oz filets prior to being flash-frozen within 2 hours of being caught, and then freeze dried by us for you, so they are perfect to take on a hike or a camping trip without the hassle, mess and waste of having to lug a cooler around with a lot of ice in order to keep your fresh sea bass cold before preparing it for the grill or the open flame. We’ve done all work for you! You get zero waste, unlike when preparing your own fresh sea bass if the power is out!

Simply rehydrate with room-temperature water for a few minutes (instructions on the label), season, cook and serve! Best if pan fried with butter, but countless ways to prepare! In a pinch, like on the trail or during a disaster, if you rehydrate with boiling water, you will eliminate having to cook your filets and you can serve them within 10 minutes.
