One package of freeze-dried, uncooked wild-caught Chilean sea bass fillets packaged for long-term storage.
To rehydrate, add room-temperature water and allow a few minutes for the fillets to absorb moisture. For immediate consumption without additional cooking, rehydrate with boiling water and serve once rehydrated. Season and cook as desired — pan-frying with butter is a popular method.
Chilean sea bass (Dissostichus eleginoides), deboned and skin removed. Wild-caught in the Southeast Pacific by hook and line.
Keep unopened bags sealed and stored out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place to preserve shelf life. Once opened, reseal the bag and store with included oxygen absorbers and desiccants if present; recommended to consume remaining opened portions within approximately 90 days for best quality unless vacuum resealed.
• This product is normally available by limited pre-sale; orders placed during pre-sale will be shipped in the order received. Expected availability windows may be shown on the product page.
• Shelf life: sealed packaging provides long-term shelf stability; manufacturers often rate sealed pouches for 25+ years under proper storage conditions. After opening, shelf life drops significantly depending on reseal quality and humidity.
• Packaging: multi-layer mylar pouches with resealable closure and oxygen/moisture protection. Bags include an easy-tear notch and recloseable zipper.
