This single bulk pouch contains 11.0 ounces of freeze dried pulled pork — approximately the equivalent of 44 ounces (2.75 pounds) of rehydrated, ready-to-eat pulled pork. The product is fully cooked, making it convenient for camping, hiking, emergency food storage, or quick meals at home.

Packaging & Storage

• Packed vacuum sealed in a multi-layer, bonded composite mylar pouch with a resealable easy-tear top and integrated zip closure.
• Unopened shelf life: up to 10 years when stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
• After opening: reseal the pouch with the integrated zip closure; with the included oxygen absorber and desiccant, keep remaining portions for about 3 months to 1 year depending on conditions. Using a home vacuum sealer can extend storage to 5 or more years.

Preparation & Use

• Simple rehydration: add water and let sit a few minutes following label instructions, then heat and serve.
• Also enjoyable straight from the pouch as a high-protein trail snack.
