With this product you will be purchasing one bulk package of freshly ground and cooked freeze dried pork with a net weight of 14.0 ounces, packaged for long term storage.

We bring this pork in from a very reputable US rancher - it is all natural, humanely raised heritage Duroc pork with no antibiotics ever used, 100% vegetarian fed, and no gestation crates used. Then we grind it locally with no additives, slow cook it in small batches by hand (no microwaves or machines) and freeze dry it all in the same day, so it is as fresh as you can get. And we don’t add a single thing to it - not even salt. So the ingredient list is as simple as it gets; pork. No antibiotics used, no hormones and no inhumane treatment!

This bag contains 14 ounces of fully cooked freeze dried ground pork, which is the equivalent of 56 ounces / 3-1/2 pounds (AFTER cooking it and draining all the fat off) if purchased at your local high-end specialty butcher shop once rehydrated and ready for use. Each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground pork will weigh approximately 4 ounces of freshly cooked ground pork when rehydrated.

After we are done cooking and freeze drying, each ounce of freeze dried cooked ground pork will be the equivalent of 7-8 ounces of raw, uncooked ground pork. Between the cooking, draining of fats, and freeze drying, we reduce the weight of our fresh ground pork by almost 90%.
