Shelf Life & Storage

• Manufacturer guarantees a shelf life of up to 10 years for unopened bags when stored in the factory packaging and kept out of direct sunlight. With modern multi-layered Mylar packaging, shelf life may extend beyond 10 years under ideal conditions.
• After opening: reseal the bag with the integrated closure and keep the oxygen absorber and moisture desiccant inside when possible. Once opened, remaining portions typically retain quality for about 3 months to 1 year depending on storage conditions.
• Using a home vacuum sealer on the pouch after opening can extend shelf life to 5 or more years if residual oxygen is removed.
• Store opened or resealed pouches in a rodent-free area to protect the packaging.
