Preparation

To serve, rehydrate with water for a few minutes according to the label instructions, then heat and enjoy. Each ounce of the freeze-dried mix yields roughly 6 ounces of prepared potatoes and jalapeños after rehydration.

Ingredients

Redskin potatoes, onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, poblano pepper, salsa blend (jalapeños, green onions, garlic, cilantro), contains less than 2% cilantro, dextrose, lime juice powder (maltodextrin, lime juice with added lime oil), olive oil, parsley, salt, spices, sugar, vinegar powder (maltodextrin, white distilled vinegar).

Storage & Shelf Life

Store unopened pouches out of direct sunlight at room temperature. Unopened pouches retain long shelf life; when kept sealed and stored properly they can last 25 years or more. After opening, reseal the pouch with the integrated closure and use the remaining portion within the recommended period on the label.

Storage and Resealing

• Unopened: Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Factory-sealed pouches can retain a 25+ year shelf life when stored properly.
• After opening: Reseal the pouch with the integrated zipper and include the oxygen absorber and desiccant if present. For best quality, consume opened portions within 3 months for meat-containing products and up to 1 year for most fruits, vegetables, and side dishes depending on conditions.
• Vacuum sealing opened pouches with a home sealer can extend the remaining shelf life significantly.
