Storage & Shelf Life

Shelf Life and Storage Recommendations

• Unopened pouches: guaranteed to at least 10 years when kept sealed and stored out of direct sunlight. With optimal conditions and multi-layered mylar packaging, actual shelf life may be longer.
• After opening: reseal the pouch with the integrated zip closure and keep the oxygen absorber and desiccant inside when possible. Once opened, expect a reduced shelf life (typical guidance: about 3 months to 1 year depending on product and storage conditions).
• To extend the life of an opened pouch, consider using a home vacuum sealer to remove residual oxygen and then reseal.
