This combo pack contains freeze-dried, precooked white meat chicken and beef chunks that rehydrate quickly with hot water. The meats are fully cooked before freeze-drying so they are ready to use in a wide range of dishes — soups, stews, casseroles, tacos, sandwiches, and more.

Preparation

  1. Remove and discard the oxygen absorber.
  2. Cover desired amount of freeze-dried meat with boiling water.
  3. Let stand for 5 minutes; drain any excess water.
  4. Use as you would regular cooked meat.

Approximate rehydration yield: 2.5 cups dry meat plus 2 cups water = about 1 pound fresh meat.
