One package of fully cooked, lightly seasoned freeze dried shredded beef packaged for long-term storage. The product is vacuum sealed in a moisture- and oxygen-free environment inside an easy-tear, resealable top bag.

• Net freeze-dried weight: 6.5 ounces
• Rehydrated yield: approximately 32.5 ounces (just over 2 pounds)
• Seasoned lightly with salt and sugar
• Ingredients: Beef, water, dextrose, salt, sodium phosphate, sugar

Simply rehydrate with water for a few minutes (follow label instructions), heat, and serve. The product can also be eaten straight from the pouch as a high-protein, high-energy snack for hiking or camping.

Packaging is vacuum sealed in a resealable mylar pouch with integrated zip closure for convenient portioning.

Shelf life (unopened): up to 10 years when stored sealed and kept out of direct sunlight; packaging materials and storage conditions can extend usable life beyond that in many cases.

After opening: reseal the pouch with the integrated closure and keep the oxygen absorber and moisture desiccant in the bag when storing remaining portions. For longest retained quality, consume opened portions within 90 days if stored at typical home conditions; using a home vacuum sealer can extend opened storage life.
