This is a bulk package of freeze-dried, uncooked filet mignon (beef tenderloin) steaks packaged for long-term storage. The steaks are vacuum sealed in a resealable, easy-tear pouch and are sold raw so you can rehydrate and cook them to your preferred doneness.

Usage

1. Rehydrate the freeze-dried steaks with water for a few minutes (follow package instructions).

Shelf Life & Storage

• Unopened pouches: guaranteed for 10 years; with ideal storage conditions and multi-layer barrier pouches, shelf life can often extend beyond this when kept sealed and out of direct sunlight.
• After opening: reseal pouch with the integrated closure and keep oxygen absorber/desiccant in place when present. Use remaining portions within about 90 days for best quality. Using a home vacuum sealer can extend opened storage life up to several years in some cases.
